Share
This Espresso Martini with Espresso Martini Whipped Cream is a bold coffee cocktail with a creamy, elevated finish. Fresh espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur create the classic rich base, while our Espresso Martini whipped cream adds a smooth coffee-forward topping that makes the drink feel more premium, more dessert-like, and honestly way more memorable.
This is the kind of cocktail that works after dinner, at brunch, for girls’ night, holiday parties, or any event where a basic drink would be lazy.
Recipe Summary
Recipe Name: Espresso Martini with Espresso Martini Whipped Cream
Category: Cocktail
Cuisine: Modern Cocktail
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 cocktail
Difficulty: Easy
Main Ingredients: Vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, Espresso Martini whipped cream
Best For: After-dinner drinks, brunch cocktails, parties, holiday entertaining
Ingredients
2 oz vodka
1 oz coffee liqueur
1 oz freshly brewed espresso, cooled slightly
1/2 oz simple syrup
Ice
Whipped Fusion Espresso Martini whipped cream, for topping
3 coffee beans, for garnish
Cocoa powder or espresso powder, optional
Instructions
1. Brew the Espresso
Brew 1 oz of fresh espresso and let it cool slightly. Do not use hot espresso straight from the machine unless you enjoy watery, sad cocktails.
2. Add Ingredients to a Shaker
Add vodka, coffee liqueur, cooled espresso, simple syrup, and ice to a cocktail shaker.
3. Shake Hard
Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. This is not the time for a weak little shake. A proper espresso martini needs a cold texture and a light foam layer.
4. Strain
Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
5. Top with Espresso Martini Whipped Cream
Add a generous topping of Whipped Fusion’s Espresso Martini whipped cream over the cocktail.
6. Garnish
Finish with three coffee beans or a light dusting of cocoa powder or espresso powder.
Serving Tip
Serve immediately while the cocktail is cold and the whipped cream is fresh. The contrast of chilled espresso martini and creamy coffee whipped topping is the whole point.
Recipe Notes
Use freshly brewed espresso if possible. Cold brew concentrate can work, but it will create a smoother, less intense flavor. Regular brewed coffee is too weak. Do not use it unless you want the cocktail to taste like office breakroom regret.
Adjust the simple syrup depending on your coffee liqueur. Some coffee liqueurs are very sweet, so you may only need 1/4 oz simple syrup.
